YOSUTEBITO: Taken from the Japanese word, meaning recluse. Yosutebito’s persona has been synonymous with Drum & Bass in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 19 years. Beginning his journey into mixing with the sounds of Jungle and Hardcore Techno at raves and nightclubs in 1998 with a residency at Skills Events in San Francisco and Oakland.

Many of which had never before performed in the United States. At the time, Yosutebito was known as Bicolas and was the Drum & Bass buyer for not one, but three bay area record stores, instrumental in the growth of Dance records.com, and was a sales rep for Nemesis Music Distribution.
Between his night club project Rhythm Method and arranging Drum & Bass stages at every Skills Productions event, between the years of 1998 and 2008 he had already been opening for acts such as Evol Intent, Spor, Calyx, Black Sun Empire, Noisia, Pendulum, Concord Dawn, Shy FX, Ewun, John B, Dieselboy and DJ Hype. He is also known to be quite proficient with Old School Jungle, Intelligent D&B, Breakbeats, House, and Techno. Coining the term “Neurodisco”, Yosutebito has always been a consistent crowd favorite and guaranteed dance floor mover. Shifting into the production of his very own brand of Drum & Bass music, he has shown a fierce interest in synthesis, recently leaking two unsigned floor smashers.
Currently getting heavy DJ support around the Bay Area as a profound Drum & Bass artist and teaming up with US producer Miss Haze to create the powerhouse production duo “Lost Cat Reward”.
